Adopt-A-Mentee

Why A Mentor Programme?

Many schools do not offer career guidance or the support needed to navigate the decision process when deciding on a career or tertiary institution. We wish to empower young women to be ready for tertiary education and to make the correct career choices.
Many young women:

- Lack confidence due to not having good role models or parental guidance.
- Are not aware of career opportunities.
- This leads to innappropriate (and often unsuccessful) tertiary studies.
- Do not know how to access study bursaries or apply to a tertiary  institution.

Our programme focuses on Grade 12 learners of Good Hope Seminary in Hope Street, Cape Town
Windermere High in Boston Street, Factreton.
